Photo upload terms

These terms protect you, the people in your image, and the artists and rights holders whose work might appear in an upload.

You need permission

Only upload an image that you created, own, are authorized to use, or have permission from the relevant person or rights holder to use for a custom product. If a child appears in an image, you must be the parent or legal guardian or have their permission.

Content we do not accept

Illegal, threatening, hateful, exploitative, or sexually explicit content.
Private or sensitive information that you do not have permission to share.
Content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
Content intended to impersonate, deceive, harass, or cause harm.

How the image is used

The original image is prepared in your browser and is not uploaded as part of pattern generation. When you save a build, the generated project data and preview needed for fulfillment are stored. We use that information only to provide, secure, support, and fulfill the service; it is not used to train an AI model.

Review and refusal

Automated tools do not decide whether you have image rights. We may pause, reject, or refund an order if an upload appears prohibited, unsafe, or likely to infringe another person's rights. This review does not transfer responsibility for the upload away from you.

Reporting a concern

If you believe content processed by Drop the Beads infringes your rights, use live chat and provide enough information for us to identify and review the project.
